Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, seeks a Project Engineer in Houston, TX for our Telecommunications Division. You will provide technical information to the Project Manager to ensure compliance with plans, codes, and specifications.

Role includes startup checklist development, quality control planning, permit coordination, closeout logs, and RFI administration. A related bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
2+ years' experience with an electrical subcontractor.
Familiarity with Project Specification Sections Division 27 and 28.
Basic BISCI knowledge recommended.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide technical engineering information to a Project Manager to ensure project compliance with plans, codes, specifications and design instructions.
Assist in evaluations and solutions of potential field problems, referring them to Project Management.
As a Project Engineer, assist with startup checklist and site logistics plan development.
Assist with the development of a quality control plan and maintain Customer Interface.
Assist with permit processes and monitor them as needed.
Prepare closeout log and participate in owner training sessions.
Compile as-built drawings and administer RFI process.
