Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a proactive Telecom Project Coordinator in Massachusetts to support fiber maintenance, relocations, and overbuilds. You will assist with project implementation in pre- and post-construction stages and maintain schedules, costs, and reporting accuracy.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication across all organizational levels. Prior telecom exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day functions supporting Fiber Maintenance, Relocation and Overbuilds.
• Support project implementation in pre-construction and post-construction environments.
• Maintain status reports documenting project schedules and project costs.
• Administer local contracts and ensure compliance with bonding, insurance, and generalized procedures.
• Coordinate projects with all levels of management.
• Track, report, and communicate on Outside Plant (OSP) project progress.
• Assist with cost actuals versus budget and maintain reporting and project tracker accuracy.
• Coordinate cable locate service contractors.
• Maintain tracking logs for capital, expense, and emergency restoration purchase requisitions.
• Manage incoming and outgoing materials inventory.
• Assist with general contractor coordination.
• Develop and maintain contact lists for Zayo business contracts, permit agencies and ILEC.
• Coordinate conduit leases and associated paperwork.
• Coordinate permits with city, state, and county agencies.
