Job summary

ACT Bluemont, VA is seeking a Project Control Specialist for a temporary six-week assignment. The role focuses on project coordination for telecommunications and systems engineering, ensuring schedules, budgets, and IMS reporting align with objectives.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or engineering. Proficiency in MS Office and PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, PM, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, or related role
• Coursework or certification in project management (CAPM, PMP, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and IMS report requirements
• Coordinate stakeholder schedules for technical working groups, program reviews, and equipment requirements meetings
• Document design and implementation plans, and participate in test, evaluation, and strategic planning activities
• Ensure compliance with internal customer processes, customer requirements, and quality standards
