Job summary

Metronet, located in Windsor, CO, seeks a Controls Manager to draft and manage contracts, develop the project schedule, oversee procurement, and monitor the financial health of construction initiatives for the Vice President of Construction.

Requirements include a BS/BA in construction management, civil or electrical engineering (preferred), 4+ years in telecom construction, strong financial reporting, and familiarity with project management tools.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in construction management, civil or electrical engineering preferred but not required.
• Strong financial reporting skills.
• Extensive experience in project-related material and services procurement.
• Four or more years of telecommunications construction experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with project management tools, telecommunications engineering, and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, distribute, and evaluate project related RFPs/RFQs.
• Develop and draft scopes of work in conjunction with other departments.
• Administration of subcontracts and subcontractor agreements, including review and selection, monitoring and direction per project schedule.
• Maintain project inventory and warehouse facilities.
• Manage the local and state permitting processes.
• Contract compliance management/assurance.
• Maintain and manage Contractor and Professional Engineering Agreement files.
• Monitor and update daily production reports and project schedules.
