Job summary

Accion Labs seeks an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst to support enterprise application modernization in a telecom domain. The role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA or Houston, TX and runs for an initial 12-month contract.

You will own backlog, write user stories, engage stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive agile delivery across multiple workstreams. Prior telecom experience and knowledge of Jira, ServiceNow or SiteTracker are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as Product Owner or Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with backlog prioritization and Agile delivery.
• Proficient in Jira and ServiceNow or SiteTracker.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and gather business requirements.
• Define, document, and manage user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and prioritize product backlogs to align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure successful project execution.
• Support migration and modernization initiatives involving service management and workflow platforms.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.
• Track project progress and communicate risks, dependencies, and status updates.
