Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Construction Manager to oversee field operations in rural Columbus, NM, supporting an OSP/telecom fiber build along the border. You will manage internal crews, vendors, QA/QC, field execution, and production timelines across multiple sites and crews.

This contract runs through 2027–2028 with potential extension to full-time. The role includes safety meetings, 12-hour shifts, 90-mile travel, per diem, and on-site housing arrangements; strong leadership and client-facing

Qualifications

• Field experience/performing field duties is a must.
• Team player and self motivator.
• Experience in fiber/telecom and construction management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations for fiber installation and construction activities across multiple sites.
• Manage internal crews and external vendors, QA/QC, and track production timelines.
• Drive field execution, coordinate projects, motivate crews, and communicate with clients.
• Perform light administrative duties, reporting, and close-out activities.
