Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Construction Manager - Outside Plant (OSP) to lead field crews on major fiber deployment projects. You will oversee daily field operations, safety, quality, and budget adherence while coordinating with Project Managers and Engineers.

The role requires 6+ years in OSP construction, strong leadership, and the ability to work across regions with travel as needed. A valid driver's license and DOT readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in Outside Plant (OSP) construction with leadership experience
• Experience leading field crews including open excavation and directional drill operations
• Ability to read construction drawings, specs, and scopes of work; strong math skills

Responsibilities

• Lead field-based construction activities across multiple OSP projects; mentor crews
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Scheduling to align work with timelines
• Manage crew performance, safety, and quality; ensure compliance with OSHA standards and client requirements
• Provide field updates and metrics during reviews; drive accountability and continuous improvement
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to meet or exceed expectations
