Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Telecommunications & Operations Technician to assist in implementing new telecom and network systems and to support daily operations for AS400 and mobile devices. You will help with inventory, ticketing, and documentation, and provide training as needed.

The role involves installation, troubleshooting, and back-up support for voice and data networks, with a focus on AS400 replication monitoring and system access management.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of AS400, Itera Replication, and related systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• AS400 experience 1–3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot telecom and network hardware/software.
• Support voice communications, including contact center.
• Install and cabling of workstations as needed.
• Provide back-up support for phone and network issues.
• Monitor AS400 Itera replication; manage user access and vendor tickets.
• Maintain telecom inventory and general support documentation for LAN/WAN, Wireless, Routers.
