Job summary

Sierra7 is seeking a technical lead for telecommunications engineering to guide network analysis, requirements development, transition planning, and acquisition support for DoD-related projects in the United States. Responsibilities span evaluating configurations, documenting requirements, planning transitions, and advising on modern networking technologies.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in a related field and 10+ years of telecom/network experience, US citizenship, and CAC

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field
10+ years of telecommunications or network engineering experience
Must be a US Citizen and eligible for CAC access (Tier 1/NACI)

Responsibilities

Evaluate existing telecommunications and network service configurations.
Develop and document customer technical requirements and network performance requirements.
Support development of customer PWSs, bid models, technical evaluation plans, IGCEs, and related acquisition artifacts.
Analyze transition strategies and recommend technical solutions and alternatives.
Support Fair Opportunity competitions and customer network transition planning.
Coordinate with Government personnel, vendors, and customers to resolve technical issues.
Support cutover planning, implementation activities, and transition troubleshooting.
Provide recommendations on emerging technologies and telecommunications modernization opportunities.
