Job summary

Congruex in Clarksburg, WV is seeking a Lineman I, II, III to build and maintain telecom systems, both aerial and underground. The role involves outdoor work, climbing poles, and heavy construction tasks in remote locations. You will read specs, perform wiring, and ensure safety for customers and the public.

The position is hourly, non-exempt, with salary determined by skills and experience. A valid CDL and safety certifications are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Extensive knowledge of approved practices, procedures, tools, and materials used in telecom line construction work.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains major cable systems and structures; replaces cables and hardware.
• Reads work orders, specs, and drawings to determine tasks.
• Performs digging, pole climbing, and wire/stringing operations.
• Operates power equipment and tests systems; ensures safety for customers and public.
