Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager to join a design services company for mission critical systems in Ashburn, VA. You will manage job sites and oversee design, deployment, and field coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 3-5+ years in telecommunications construction, experience with project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel), and knowledge of structured cabling (CAT5/CAT6).

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years hands-on experience in construction specific to telecommunications.
• Experience creating project schedules with tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or Excel.
• Experience in project estimation or takeoffs for new jobs.
• Knowledge of CAT5/CAT6 structured cabling and OSP/ISP cabling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
• Assist the project Superintendent and Engineering with project documentation, layout, and field office support.
• Prepare a design/build project estimate based on design criteria.
• Meet with customers to present proposals and cost estimates.
• Coordinate the procurement of materials, tools, and equipment with the project team and warehouse.
• Oversee overall financial management of the project, including cash flow and manpower.
