Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Telecom Technician 3 to lead installation of low voltage cabling and telecom systems across mission-critical facilities.

You will oversee a crew of technicians and apprentices, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion of work orders. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and scheduling tasks, inspecting work for quality, and training junior staff while adhering to codes and standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in commercial communications industry.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install and test telecom systems including fiber and copper cabling.
• Produce 4 week look ahead plans for workflow, materials, and productivity.
• Supervise apprentices and ensure quality and safety.
• Travel up to 25% domestically or internationally.
