Job summary

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a Field Technician II to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and infrastructure at customer sites. You will work with senior technicians and engineers to ensure network performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; 2–5 years experience with XCAL and CW testing (CW TX, spectrum analyzer). Travel to job sites and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certs/associate degree a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience with XCAL and CW testing (CW TX, spectrum analyzer)
• Basic telecom system knowledge: cabling, routers, switches; tools used in telecom installations and repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting ability to work through issues methodically.
• Good verbal and written communication; professional interaction with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of telecom equipment (cables, routers, switches) at customer sites.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on telecom infrastructure.
• Identify and troubleshoot telecom equipment and network issues with senior technicians.
• Conduct tests to verify functionality and performance; ensure safety/quality standards.
• Communicate with customers during service calls and submit reports to supervisors.
