Job summary

WorldNet Telecommunications Inc. is seeking a field technician to install, configure, repair and support telecommunication infrastructure at customer sites.

You will work on internal and external wiring, CPEs, voice services, and security appliances, ensuring service integrity and adherence to standards. The role involves on-site visits, testing of core equipment, and collaboration with engineering to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• Two years of related telecommunications experience or equivalent training.
• Associated Degree in Telecommunications, Telephony or Electronic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers for installation and repair of wiring and CPE.
• Install, configure and repair WorldNet CPEs and voice services.
• Perform testing on core equipment and troubleshoot DS1/DS3 circuits.
• Comply with installation standards and obtain customer sign-off.
• Troubleshoot VoIP issues and firewall configurations.
