Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Field Inspector to oversee telecommunications construction projects, verify adherence to standards, and document field activities. You will coordinate with construction personnel and contractors to deliver accurate reporting for quality project execution.

The role focuses on field inspections, compliance with engineering and construction standards, and clear reporting for clients and telecom providers. Willingness to travel daily and work with diverse teams is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to assigned project locations and conduct field inspections.
• Inspect cable placement, fiber placement, fiber splicing, and telecommunications construction work.
• Verify work complies with engineering standards, construction specifications, and customer requirements.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed field reports.
• Attend field meetings with construction personnel, contractors, subcontractors, and government agencies.
• Operate and maintain field equipment including laptops, iPads, height sticks, cameras, and PPE.
• Perform invoicing activities and manage subcontractor work orders as assigned.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and inspection records.
