IDR, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Engineer to join a leading client in Fort Worth, TX, to develop and maintain telecommunications infrastructure for critical healthcare services.

The role involves configuring, repairing, and supporting voice and data lines, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and advising development teams on standards and architectures. This position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. It is an on-site role based in Fort Worth.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of direct telecom experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience configuring, repairing, and installing telecom voice and data lines.
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting telecom infrastructure issues.
• Experience providing technical assistance to the community.
• Experience configuring and supporting Nortel, Vocera, and Shortel systems.

Responsibilities

• Configure, repair, and install telecommunications voice and data lines adhering to code standards.
• Analyze and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure issues.
• Provide technical assistance to the community.
• Configure and support Nortel, Vocera, and Shortel telecommunications systems.
• Perform network switching and routing Tier 1 troubleshooting.
• Develop, test, maintain, install, and deploy technologies supporting the organization’s technical infrastructure.
• Support the establishment, development, and promotion of standard architectures, hardware, and software components.
• Provide consulting services to application development teams and customers regarding technologies and standards.
