Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and safely operate drilling equipment on site in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities include potholing, mud system operation, bore scheduling, and equipment maintenance. A valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize "Mud" mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
