Job summary

Star Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to operate bore equipment for underground telecommunications cabling and infrastructure in Tanner, AL and surrounding areas. You’ll determine bore paths, locate utilities, and manage safety on a field job.

This hourly role requires a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, a high school diploma or GED, and drilling equipment experience. We offer weekly pay, PTO, 401(k) with match, education reimbursement, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with tanker endorsement and driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Experience with drilling equipment, including setup and design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
