Job summary

Wireless Technology Labs is seeking a telecom engineer who writes production Python and has hands-on experience with core network protocols such as Diameter, GTPv2, NAS, and S1AP. You will handle scale-out time-series data with PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB, and you will work close to constrained hardware where edge models run under a 2-second budget on 2 vCPU.

Ideal candidates have production Python experience, strong network discipline, and familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, security concepts

Qualifications

• Production Python development experience.
• Strong understanding of telecom protocols (Diameter, GTPv2, NAS, S1AP).
• Experience with time-series data at scale (PostgreSQL + TimescaleDB).
• Comfort with containerized deployments and constrained hardware edge models.

Responsibilities

• Write production-grade Python for telecom applications.
• Work with time-series data backends at scale.
• Optimize for tight inference budgets on edge devices (2 CPU cores, ~150MB).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose complex network issues.
