Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Staff Network Production Operations Engineer to own reliability across our global edge and data center networks, including GPU clusters. You will lead incident response, drive RCAs, and improve observability while mentoring peers in a high‑pressure, high‑scale environment.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of production networking experience, deep routing and data center fundamentals, and strong Python automation skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of production network engineering experience in large‑scale environments.
• Hands‑on experience with streaming telemetry and observability tooling.
• Experience operating large, multi‑region network fabrics.

Responsibilities

• Own uptime for Crusoe's global edge, backbone, data center, and GPU cluster networks.
• Lead incident response for high‑severity network events and drive postmortems.
• Perform RCAs and implement remediation plans to prevent recurrence.
• Improve observability with dashboards and automation to reduce toil.
• Write Python tooling to automate remediation workflows and support on‑call engineers.
• Define and track SLI/SLOs with cross‑team collaboration.
• Mentor senior engineers and promote operational excellence.
