ESPO Corporation is seeking a Telecom Construction Specialist in Miami, FL for a long-term contract. The role involves field audits (80%) and some office work (20%), with a pay rate of $40–$43 per hour.

You will inspect nodes, amplifiers, power supplies, and fiber equipment while maintaining safety and documentation. Primary duties include updating job docs, coordinating with regional technicians, ensuring power supply readiness, and overseeing NGAN product quality.

Qualifications

• Coax and Fiber construction experience required.
• Basic computer experience with Microsoft Office and Smartsheet; familiarity with Teams.
• Network Maintenance Technician experience a plus and reading design prints.

Telecom Construction Specialist
Miami, FL
Pay Rate: $40-$43/hr
Long term contract

Will be completing construction quality audits in the field 80% of the time, 20% office pc work.

Wide range of inspections on nodes, amplifiers, power supplies, fiber taps, enclosures etc. but not limited to.

Day To Day-

be responsible for assigned audits (could be one or multiple locations); no day will be the same; completing audits and documentation ; verify and review audit rework repairs and task are completed in a timely manner; there is some computer and Smartsheet work every day. This role is pretty much an individual role; team is spread all around.

Requirements:

• both Coax and Fiber construction experience a must.
• Basic computer experience a must to use Microsoft, Smartsheet’s, teams, P2 daily.
• Network Maintenance Technician experience a plus and reading design prints.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the execution of overhead/underground construction duties such as: placing hard-line Connectivity & Platformss, frame and strand poles, transfer facilities between poles, place Connectivity & Platforms in joint trench, and safe operation of construction vehicles and Connectivity & Platforms trailers.
• Investigates and monitors accurate record keeping concerning project start, milestone dates, production logs, material costs, and labor expenditures.
• Instructs work site safety standards; conducts work site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards and participates in regular safety meetings with the crew.
• Supports Specialists and leadership team with coordination of projects.
• Generates logs and reports on construction, projects, materials, and expenditures.
• Reviews, resolves, follows-up customer request and complaints.
• Monitors performance of construction crew to established goals and objectives.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business support, technical, or production staff who perform tasks in the same function
• Sets priorities for the team. Assigns tasks and checks work at regular intervals
• Responsible for ensuring all work performed on the project meets or exceeds Comcast, Local, State or Federal standards and regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Updating the JT or Polaris entry (job docs/maps) QC for path verification
• Primary contractor interface day-to-day in the field and in turn acts as the NGAN liaison with the Regional network Technicians
• New or upgraded power supply in place and operational (in continuity) prior to cut date.
