Job description

Telecom Construction Coordinator

Location: Atlanta, GA

Pay Rate: $41–$43/hr

Contract

Will be completing construction quality audits in the field 80% of the time, 20% office PC work.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Note: Both coax and fiber, construction experience a must.
• Wide range of inspections on nodes, amplifiers, power supplies, fiber taps, enclosures, etc., but not limited to.
• Day-to-day responsibility for assigned audits (could be one or multiple locations); no day will be the same. Complete audits and documentation, verify and review audit rework repairs and tasks to be completed in a timely manner, and perform some computer and Smartsheet work each day.

Scope of Project

• Manage & Track Milestones
  • Create jobs in JT/Polaris
  • Issue jobs to design
  • Manage job through full lifecycle updating milestones in JT/Polaris
  • Handle exceptions to the lifecycle SLAs
  • Reconcile jobs (office)
• Liaise with Stakeholders
  • Point of contact for all internal Comcast cross‑functional groups including BOC, CPM, FPM, and sales
  • Provide reporting for next level management
• Identify Resources
  • Create and approve funding request
  • Material management and reconciliation
  • Research contracts and agreements
  • Manage funding request/purchase order
  • Responsible for job estimate (finance)
• Manage and Analyze Quality Control Flow
  • Manage quality control workflow
  • Validate that the field quality control is performed
  • Pull reports/provide feedback based on analysis of reports
  • Interact with other roles, including specialists and permit coordinators to ensure all milestones have been closed
• Conduct Admin and Milestone Quality Control
  • Follow admin QC checklist (materials, invoice, pictures, footages)
  • Validate permit is closed
  • Final invoice milestone is set
  • Ensure all milestones are updated
