Job summary

Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Construction since 1936, is hiring a Project Manager - Telecommunications Construction for projects in the greater Tidewater, VA area.

The Project Manager will direct telecommunications construction projects in both underground and overhead applications, lead multiple project teams, and manage the total project scope from conception to final completion.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and managing telecom construction projects (underground and overhead).
• Ability to develop new business with telecom clients.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to report and prioritize multiple construction projects.
• Knowledge of fiber splicing.
• Represent the project and Team Fishel in public forums and planning sessions.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple project teams (full-time teammates and subcontractors).
• Manage total project scope from conception to final completion.
• Lead telecommunications construction projects in underground and overhead applications.
• Coordinate with management, customers, and crews to ensure project success.
