MasTec Communications Group seeks a Construction Manager to oversee all phases of telecom utility construction, leading multiple crews in a safety-minded environment, and delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Construction Management, 3–5 years of telecom project experience, and knowledge of coax/splicing, fiber splicing, and directional drilling. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Construction Management.
• 3–5 years of telecom construction project management experience.
• Knowledge of telecom construction, including Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, map reading, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and field troubleshooting abilities.
• Previous site management experience with clients and suppliers; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of telecom construction projects and lead a team of construction professionals.
• Provide a high level of customer service for escalated issues.
• Review progressed schedules against deadlines and manage projects to completion on time and within budget.
• Schedule crews, delegate tasks, review timelines, and supervise performance and quality.
• Participate in hiring and maintain employment paperwork; promote safe work practices.
• Prepare and interpret drawings, blueprints, contracts, proposals, and specifications.
• Identify and resolve blueprint issues and supervise subcontractors as needed.
• Participate in meetings with senior operations management, peers, and customers; assist in estimating and bidding.
