Job summary

Apex Human Resources is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee all stages of telecom/wireless construction projects in Elk Grove, CA. Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience (telecom or wireless industry preferred)
• Proven leadership experience managing crews and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and project scheduling
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record; a company vehicle may be provided
• OSHA 30 certification
• First Aid/CPR
• Procore or Site Tracker experience
• CM responsible for plan of attack for construction crew and sign-off on Foreman plans

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise construction projects from start to finish
• Interpret and explain project plans and technical information to other project professionals
• Lead project kickoffs and debriefs
• Collaborate with PMs, architects, engineers, and other construction specialists
• Monitor project progress and report updates and budget matters to the PM
• Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other jobsite issues
• Ensure compliance with building codes and customer specifications
• Coordinate project activities to meet deadlines
• Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel
• Schedule crews and manage related scheduling responsibilities
• Select subcontractors and coordinate their activities
• Track OJT and conduct field sign-offs
• Manage and facilitate training days
• Build relationships with field employees to support career path growth
