The Construction Field Manager role is 90% travel-based, requiring hands-on field work and collaboration with Project Managers and Directors across the Midwest region. The position offers a company vehicle, gas card, per diems, weekly pay, and comprehensive health/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience managing/taciling tower or solar construction crews or subcontractors.
• Hands-on manager willing to work alongside crews.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel 90% across Midwest region (IL, OH, IN, MI, KY).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends when deadlines require.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily field activities and perform partial labor as needed.
• Assist with site walks and field walks.
• Travel around the Midwest to support multiple construction crews/sites.
• Support foremen, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Communicate with clients on current and pending job status.
• Request quotes and order materials from vendors.
• Attend conference calls and project meetings.
• Create daily and weekly schedules to support management.
• Coordinate final inspections and ensure permits and licenses are in place.
• Arrange construction testing/engineering services when needed.
