Job summary

ITG Communications is seeking a Construction Coordinator in Lakeland, FL to plan, coordinate, and monitor multiple telecom construction projects from initiation through completion. You will partner with field crews, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet standards, budgets, and timelines.

The role requires 2–5 years in cable/telecom construction and strong organizational skills, cost awareness, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in cable/telecom construction (fiber and coax preferred).
2–5 years of experience in project coordination or supervisory roles preferred.
Strong coordination and communication skills; ability to balance field operations with administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all phases of construction projects including pre-construction, permitting, design, material procurement, construction, and closeout.
Support planning of workflows, schedules, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and address delays or issues.
Develop and support cost estimates for construction projects and monitor costs against budget.
Review and evaluate change orders for accuracy and financial impact.
Coordinate permit applications, licensing, and make-ready processes.
Interface with municipalities, utility companies, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
