Job summary

Ontivity, a telecom installations contractor, seeks a Civil Foreman to lead crews on outdoor infrastructure projects across the United States. You will oversee trenching, foundation work, conduits, grounding, and site testing while ensuring safety and efficiency.

New hires receive a two-day orientation, on-site training, and company-provided tools before mobilizing with the crew. Travel up to four weeks may be required; wage range is $30-$40 per hour, DOE, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures.
• Willing to work as part of a team and independently under limited supervision.
• Provide communication and customer service that is professional and courteous.
• Provide cold weather gear and basic hand tools for yourself.
• Previous construction or mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
• CDL, OSHA 10, and OSHA 30 are preferred but not required at time of hire.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew in completing jobs safely and efficiently, including running equipment for trenching, foundation excavations, and roadway installs.
• Install grounding systems and utility conduits, and document close out photos.
• Stay up to date on training and certifications.
• Assist with maintenance of vehicles and equipment and tool inventory.
