Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager in Frisco, TX as part of our Energy & Utility Group's Telecommunications Team.

You will participate in the planning, drafting, design, permitting and construction administration of telecom and utility projects, coordinating with other disciplines to deliver on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Review roadway plans to identify conflicts with existing utilities.
• Design civil relocation plans for telecom and utility projects using CAD software.
• Plan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgets.
• Technical oversight, training and mentoring of less experienced staff.
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with support groups to deliver a quality, on-time product for clients and financially successful projects.
• Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications.
• Provide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, etc.
• Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travel.
