Entry-Level Engineer – Farnsworth Group

Posting Locations: Frisco, TX; Lisle, IL; St. Louis, MO

What You’ll Do

• Support telecommunication and utility‑related project development
• Complete site visits including but not limited to surveying, locating, and documenting existing conditions (may include overnight travel depending on job location)
• Review roadway plans to identify conflicts with existing utilities
• Design telecommunications and other utility projects using MicroStation, AutoCAD, or other design software

What You’ll Need

• BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution
• 0–3 years of experience
• Exposure to transportation plans, telecommunications, or utilities is a plus
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a plus
• Computer proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license

Nice to Haves

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Salary Range

$69,000 – $81,000 (salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal and external equity)
