The role requires a PE license, 15+ years of experience, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects. The firm supports hybrid collaboration and a strong focus on development and transportation projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of civil engineering experience.
• PE license required; PLS a plus.
• Strong team player capable of handling multiple projects.
• Experience in site design for greenfield and redevelopment.
• Familiarity with IDOT Standard Specifications.
• Extensive municipal/development transportation project experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage owner-driven civil engineering projects.
• Organize and complete projects from inception to completion.
• Support internal and external clients on Land Development projects.
• Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines and consultants.
• Balance internal and external project schedules and staffing.
• Prepare project proposals.
• Assist with business development efforts.
• Mentor Junior staff and support their professional growth.
