Job summary

Olsson’s Facility Engineering and Design (FED) Team seeks a Telecom Designer to work on low voltage, telecommunications, and audio/visual systems within buildings. You will design layouts for MDF/IDF rooms, cabling, access control, surveillance, and nurse call systems, contributing to high-impact projects in data centers and healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Drafting and Design is preferred.
• 3+ years of CAD/BIM experience relevant to low-voltage, security, or AV design.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD/BIM software to support intricate engineering designs for data centers and building systems.
• Contribute to projects under the guidance of experienced designers ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Assist in managing project components with attention to detail from start to finish.
• Participate in client meetings and represent Olsson’s commitment to excellence.
• Be prepared to travel to job sites as necessary.
