Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew in installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials. You will contribute to field operations and ensure safe, efficient work in various conditions.

This hourly role offers hands-on training, a safety-first culture, and opportunities for growth across the telecom field. Participation in all-weather outdoor work and DOT-compliant traffic control is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Pole climber certification or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Complete door-tagging and resident notifications before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging with shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow per local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and be on-call/after-hours as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.

Education

High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience
