Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. seeks a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will serve as the on-site expert, guiding and supporting less experienced teammates. You will lead the crew in installing fiber/telecom cables, using bucket trucks, digger derricks, and excavators, while maintaining safe work areas and proper traffic flow.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (not Provisional) with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Must be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified.
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators.
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
