Job summary

Globe Communications LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will serve as the on-site expert, guiding and supporting less experienced team members.

You’ll be ready to travel for storm response on short notice, and you’ll contribute to a safety-first culture while delivering high-quality workmanship in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (not Provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• DOT medical card via DOT physical exam.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Pole climber certification or willingness to become certified.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators.
• Ensure work areas are safe and traffic flows smoothly on site.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
