Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Telemetry position in Simi Valley, CA. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care on a 12-hour day shift, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and collaborative team-based care.

Qualifications include a CA RN license, BSN preferred, and CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. EPIC experience is advantageous, and travel stipends may be available for eligible candidates.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Simi Valley, CA

Average Hourly Rate: $71.93 Total Weekly Travel Pay: $2,589.36 Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details

1st 12h, Day Shift - 36 or 48's. Nursing Specialty: Telemetry RN

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation.
• Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues.
• Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.
• Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
• Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes.
• Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patients situation.
• Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.
• Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members.
• Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team.
• Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) full-time equivalent experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• CPR certification or BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy
• Active BLS, ACLS and PALS certified
• EPIC experience/Auto offer
• Additional certifications may be required
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements)
