Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a part-time weekend shift (Fri/Sat/Sun, 8-hour shifts) at Atrium Health Mercy in Charlotte, NC. The role requires a valid RN license, BLS, NIHSS, and at least 5 years of RN experience, with expertise in critical care, emergency services, or stroke care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Applicants must have at least 5 years of RN experience (not for new grads).
• RN license issued by the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• NIHSS certification required.
• Experience in critical care, emergency services and/or acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate Neurology patient care via TeleNeurology in collaboration with the medical team.
