Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Tele to deliver patient care during the 6:30 PM–7:00 AM shift. The role emphasizes nursing process, assessment, planning, and interventions on a 28-bed Med/Surg Tele unit.

Requirements include an Associate degree or nursing diploma, OR BSN preferred, current RN license, and ACLS/CPI training within set timelines. One year of RN experience is typical, with opportunities for growth and specialty education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN preferred.
• One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
