Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Prior work experience in health care.
• Prior education in or work experience with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Meet the PCT competency assessment/skills checklist within three months of hire.
• Complete Safety Companion/TeleCompanion competency and training where applicable.
• Utilize Standard Precautions in caring for all patients.
• Provide for patient safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain and promote patient comfort and dignity in care.
• Perform basic nursing tasks with accuracy and respect.
• Record vital signs and patient information in the electronic health record.
• Order necessary supplies for the unit.
• Perform designated basic treatments and procedures as trained.
• Adhere to Bozeman Health policies and regulatory requirements.
