Bozeman Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to support patient care, including Tele-Companion and Tele-Tech programs, and assist with diagnostic procedures and charting. You will work as part of the nursing care team providing direct patient services and ensuring safety and quality care.

The role emphasizes analytical abilities, attention to detail, and adaptability to evidence-based practice, with duties ranging from vital signs documentation to scheduling and coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred certifications include Nurse Aide or EMT and/or prior healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet the PCT competency assessment within three months of hire.
• Complete Safety Companion/TeleCompanion training where applicable.
• Utilize Standard Precautions for all patients.
• Provide for patient safety and maintain patient satisfaction.
• Perform basic nursing care with dignity and respect.
• Record patient information including vitals in the EHR.
• Order necessary supplies and perform common treatments as trained.
• Engage in role-appropriate duties and other related tasks as assigned.
