Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details

Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

General job duties. Types of procedures required. Assessing and medicating patients. Will recover cath lab pts and thoracic patients.

Every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday on Day Shift and either Friday / Saturday or Saturday / Sunday on night shift to follow unit patterns); Every other Holiday (Days holidays are: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Nights holidays are: Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day Eve, the 3rd of July Nights, and Labor day Eve)

Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. 3 shifts in orientation on unit with a preceptor. Will also complete EPIC training and Healthstream Education modules.
