Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA, USA, is seeking a Tegra System Software Engineer to design and implement system software for ARM Trusted Firmware Stack and related interfaces. You will build reusable AI-assisted workflows, evaluate changes for correctness and security, and collaborate across firmware and system software domains to advance the Tegra platform.

We value 5+ years in system software, strong C/C++ skills, and experience with firmware or kernel-level software.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of proven experience in system software development.
Strong software engineering in C or C++ and debugging low-level software.
Experience with firmware, embedded software, kernel-level software, or other hardware-adjacent system software.

Responsibilities

Design, craft and develop system software relevant to ARM's Trusted Firmware Stack.
Create reusable workflow components linking AI assistants to engineering context and systems.
Define validation steps for AI-assisted work and evaluate changes for correctness and security.
Work across firmware and system software interfaces, including early boot and power management.
Engage with upstream community to develop software for ARM technologies such as Confidential Compute.
