Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join the Tegra SoC software organization in Santa Clara. You will design, develop, test, and optimize software for next-generation ARM-based SoCs, working through pre-silicon and post-silicon phases to improve performance and efficiency.

You will review bottlenecks, analyze system workloads, and drive policy decisions to achieve leadership in performance. The role requires strong leadership, deep hardware/software understanding, and collaboration

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree (or equivalent).
6+ years of relevant computer architecture or software development experience.
Strong leadership and ownership on past projects.
Hands-on technical experience in complex software/hardware designs.
Strong understanding of multicore hardware, OS design, concurrency, VM, caching, interrupts, devices, RT programming.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and optimize software for next-generation SoCs.
Cover pre-silicon and post-silicon phases of execution.
Review architectural performance bottlenecks across system workloads.
Identify HW/SW policies to drive performance and efficiency leadership.
Create and drive architecture/analysis docs and communications for internal/external audiences.
Conduct competitive analysis of architecture and workload performance on NVIDIA ARM SoCs.
