Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and verify features for next-generation Tegra SoCs in Durham, NC. You will collaborate with hardware, silicon, and pre-silicon teams to bring up platforms and prototype systems, focusing on core OS software and early modeling simulations.

You should have a BS/MS in CS/CE, 5+ years of experience, and strong C programming with low-level debugging skills, plus hands-on ARM architecture and system-level knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Proven leadership skills with ownership on past projects.
• Strong C programming and low-level driver experience; capable of complex system debugging.
• Experience with ARM based processor architecture.
• Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessors, and memory controllers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and verify features for SoC architecture with hardware/software teams.
• Early modeling simulation to support product development.
• Collaborate with hardware, silicon and pre-silicon teams to bring up platforms and prototypes.
• SoC bring-up with focus on core OS software on new platforms.
• Develop, unit test, document and maintain Tegra SoC features.
• Influence hardware architecture and system software through design specifications.
