Job summary

Pickerington Public Library is seeking a Teen Services Librarian to lead development, delivery, and assessment of teen programs, collections, and services. The role centers on outreach, homework help, and reader’s advisory, with collaboration across departments to uphold the library’s mission.

The position also supports marketing efforts and staff training on resources and reference tools, ensuring excellent customer service to teens and families.

Oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of all teen classes, events, and collections for the organization. Responsible for providing specialized training and library services to customers including homework help services, outreach, reader’s advisory, in-depth reference, technology support, and customer service. Provides training and guidance to other Public Services staff including the use of electronic resources and reference tools. Supports the Marketing Department by providing content for the library’s online presence and brand. The Teen Services Librarian works with each department in the library to provide materials and exceptional service to all customers.
