The Russell County Public Library is seeking a part-time Teen Services Assistant to join our Program Team and help make RCPL a place where teens belong.
Responsibilities include planning and leading a regular schedule of teen programs, supporting our Teen Advisory Board, and promoting the teen collection through displays and reading recommendations. Primarily weekday afternoons, with occasional evenings and Saturdays. Start date as early as November 2, 2026.
The Russell County Public Library is looking for a part-time Teen Services Assistant to join our Program Team and help make RCPL a place where middle and high school students belong.
All applicants must be 18 years of age and able to work afternoons, occasional evenings and weekends, and school breaks, when teens are free. The ideal candidate enjoys working with teens and brings kindness, patience, creativity, and a sense of humor. Strong computer skills and clear written and spoken communication are a must. Experience working with teens, leading programs, or in customer service is a plus.
Part-time, 15 to 20 hours per week
As early as November 2, 2026
Primarily weekday afternoons, with occasional evenings and Saturdays
