Ability to understand and apply library policies; familiarity with YA materials helpful.
Background in literature is a plus; knowledge of teens preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver diverse teen programs and services for ages 12-17.
Provide readers’ advisory by leveraging the library’s holdings and patrons’ reading habits.
Check shelves and organize materials appropriately.
Teach use of the library catalog and online resources to patrons, staff, and volunteers.
Explain library policy to the public and other libraries as needed.
Attend staff meetings and periodic trainings; participate in additional duties as assigned by Family Services Manager or Director.
