Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania is seeking a Teen Program Coordinator in Shadyside, PA. You will help plan and run teen programming that promotes academics, leadership, health, and career readiness, while building strong relationships with youth and their families.

The role focuses on creating a safe, inclusive environment, supporting outreach, and tracking program impact. A background in youth services and trauma-informed practices is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred in Education, Human Services, Social Work, Youth Development, or Recreation.
• Minimum of two years working with middle/high school youth in relevant settings preferred.
• Minimum of one year managing youth programs or related initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate engaging teen programming.
• Support mentoring, workforce development, leadership, and social–emotional learning initiatives.
• Develop activities promoting academic success, healthy lifestyles, character development, and career readiness.
• Build positive relationships with youth and families.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment for all participants.
• Support recruitment, outreach, and community engagement efforts.
• Maintain attendance records, documentation, and case notes.
• Collect program data and support outcome tracking and reporting.
• Assist with special events, workshops, and teen activities.
