Mid-Island Y JCC in Plainview, NY is seeking a dedicated Teen Program Coordinator to lead and support teen programs, including Teens As Leaders and Building Future Leaders. The role requires planning sessions, coordinating volunteers, and collaborating with BBYO chapters.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience with children, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate all sessions for core teen programs (Teens As Leaders; Building Future Leaders).
• Design and execute Mitzvah Days outside the standard calendar.
• Expand teen programming with engaging events to attract and retain youth participation.
• Coordinate outreach, scheduling, and on-site supervision of teen volunteers.
• Act as liaison to BBYO chapters for leadership development and program integration.
• Support recruitment strategies to engage teens across programs.
