YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Seasonal After School Program Team Member in Northridge, CA (High School Grant). The role supports teens after school, focusing on enrichment, mentoring, and leadership development.

You will work with high school students 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., 18–21 hours per week, with paid training and potential extra opportunities during school breaks. This grant-funded position emphasizes youth development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with older youth or teens in a group setting.
• Must obtain EMSA First Aid and CPR certifications prior to or soon after starting.

Responsibilities

• Lead enrichment activities and clubs for teens.
• Support college and career readiness and workforce development activities.
• Mentor teens and promote youth voice, leadership, and teamwork.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging after-school environment.
